TAG Heuer Link Series The Value Link

TAG Heuer

Full disclosure, TAG Heuer is one of my favorite watch brands, and the brand I tend to wear every day. I find it is the perfect blend of casual and elegance and can be comfortably worn all day long and for any occasion. Of course, that’s not to say a Rolex, Breitling, or Omega cannot be worn every day and for any occasion, they can. I just happen to have a soft spot for TAG Heuer’s. It could be the price point. TAG’s were the first watch I could comfortably afford, so perhaps it’s in part to a “first love” attribute. A word of caution, if you’re thinking about a TAG as an investment, it should not be your first choice.

TAG Heuer Men’s Link Series: The Review

The TAG Heuer Men’s Link Series is the perfect watch for everyday wear. The Y-link, stainless steel band makes the watch suitable to wear at the office or for a night on the town, while the scratch-resistant, sapphire means there is little to worry about when you accidentally brush the watch face against a desk or wall. Good news for those in the market for a new TAG

Refined details such as the ribbed crown edge and solid face center (surrounded with a sleek, wave design as a background for the numbers) allow this watch to fit with a suit as easily with a polo shirt and khakis.

The illuminated hour hands and hour markers allow you to subtly check the time in the theater or a dimly-lit restaurant (or in a darkened board room during a media presentation). The illumination on the TAG’s is one of my favorite features as they are super bright and last seemingly forever.

I knew TAG Heuer was a brand known for its accuracy, but I still can not believe how accurate this TAG Heuer watch keeps the time. I have not had to reset it a single time since I first bought it eight months ago and it’s just as accurate as the clock on my cell phone.

And for all of its design and functional qualities, I don’t feel like I’m lugging a brick around on my wrist, either. It’s incredibly comfortable for everyday wear. The case is only thirty-nine millimeters wide and ten millimeters thick, making it a good, light fit on my wrist. The safety on the fold over, push-button clasp means I never worry about the watch slipping off and getting lost, either.
The TAG Heuer Men’s Link Series watch is definitely a quality timepiece. It’s easy to see why so many sporting franchises (including the Olympics) rely on TAG Heuer to keep time for their events.
